Bedbug Evidence

This documentation of bedbug conditions at 109 East 9th Street is relevant to case CR-007659-25NY (Chlapek criminal mischief), in which a tenant was indicted for deliberately introducing bedbugs into the building, and to the tenant harassment proceedings LT-307504-25.

Zachary Hall (Unit 4D) has repeatedly complained about bedbug conditions in the building. His complaints are cross-referenced with the Chlapek criminal case and documented in his correspondence with the building owner.

Shiras Patterson Beckwith and Amy Beth Gartrellare the tenants of record in Unit 2E, directly adjacent to Chlapek’s Unit 2D. Neither actually resides at 109 East 9th Street — Beckwith and Gartrell are the subjects of a non-primary residence proceeding (LT-306106-25).
