Police were called to 109 East 9th Street on multiple occasions, including reports of unauthorized occupants in Unit 4B. The City's Special Operations Unit visited the building twice to investigate illegal short-term rentals — the first time they could not gain access; the second time they gained entry but did not find a short-term renter. The case was closed in January 2025. Full records are being obtained via FOIL requests.
NYPD Domestic Incident Report filed by Judy Sabin (Unit 3C) against Zachary David Hall (Unit 4D) for stalking at 109 East 9th Street. Sabin reported that Hall continued contacting her after being told to stop, including texting from different numbers, knocking on her door, and leaving notes. Filed January 9, 2020.
